idiosyncrasies running rampant

The thing about blogging is that it's so personal. I mean. I'm talking straight to you people without any regard for who is actually reading this, why they are reading this or what they may do with what they are reading. Well I gave my privacy up a long time ago, so I figured I'd let you guys in on some random facts about yours truly. Perhaps we'll have some weird idiosyncrasies in common...

1) I like cereal. A lot. In fact, I could eat cereal almost any time of the day and it's not uncommon to find me eating it for dinner at 9 pm. My favorites would have to be Cocoa Crispies, Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks and Rice Crispy Treat Cereal. Oh and Cinnamon Toast Crunch if I'm feeling feisty.

2) I love the color orange. Why? Well it all started because nobody liked the color orange and I thought to myself "why are people always hating on orange?" But then I realized how much it really brightens up a room and how warm and inviting it can be. So I love orange. The end. Exception= skin. Orange should not be a skin color.

3) The only thing I have ever won via raffle in my entire life is a bike when I was 10 from the Moose Lodge's Christmas Party. Too bad I already had a cool bike... wish I could have saved that luck for the Power Ball.

4) My favorite fast food, hands down, is Chik-Fil-A. Nothing even compares. I could literally eat Chik-Fil-A any day of the week and I especially crave it on Sundays. Oh right, they're closed Sundays. Story of my life.

5) I re-tweeted a Text From Last Night (www.textfromlastnight.com) that said "(407): i took off my shirt and wrote "help HATI" on my tits, and charged people to motorboat me. i woke up with 267$ in my purse." I did this because I found it funny and it had an Orlando area code which means I could very well KNOW this person... Well today I got a series of texts from my father telling me how disappointed he is in me... he definitely thought I was tweeting that about myself. Fail. Epic fail.

6) I love Jambalaya and the New Orleans Saints. It's just a coincidence they come from the same place. Oh I also love Black people. I really mean that. I'm enthralled with their culture.

7) I have a very hard time reading fiction. Maybe this means I have a lack of imagination, but I much prefer non-fiction and true stories. I just lose interest.

8) I can't imagine not living near a huge body of water. Perhaps it's the whole I grew up by the beach thing, but I really need water by me. This is one of the reasons I have been LOVING Tampa/ St. Pete. Water brings about such great reflection time for me.

9) My best friend has been my best friend since we were 11 and I don't plan on that changing any time soon. Sometimes you just click with people and she's the one person I will ALWAYS have an amazing time with rain or shine.

10) I'm an MTV junkie. I cannot tell you how many hours of my life I have wasted watching True Life, Teen Mom and Jersey Shore. While it sickens me that I'm 22 and still watch this nonsense, I enjoy the pointless garb going in one ear and out the other after a long day at work.

11) I am a compulsive hair-twirler. While I'm driving. While I'm reading. While I'm watching TV.... No wonder I have so many split ends.

So there ya have it. I encourage all of you fellow bloggers to share some facts with me and your readers as well! Perhaps you guys have some insight to the crazy girl who writes all this nonsense. The more you know me, the more it all makes sense, I assure you.
